Doolin is 260 kilometres from Dublin Airport, a little over three hours. It is a small place with an outsized reputation: three pubs that between them have done more for Irish traditional music than most institutions, and a pier that puts you on Inis Oírr in twenty-five minutes.
Ferry timing matters here
If you are catching the Aran Islands ferry or the Cliffs of Moher cruise, the sailing time is the fixed point and everything else works backwards from it. Give us the sailing on the quote form and we will set the pick-up to land you at the pier with a sensible margin — not a heroic one. Doolin sailings are weather-dependent and do get cancelled; a private driver can adapt, a coach cannot.
Doolin as a base
Plenty of guests use Doolin for two or three nights and range out from it. Within half an hour: the Cliffs of Moher (the coastal walk from Doolin to the cliffs is one of the best in Ireland), Lisdoonvarna, the Burren, Fanore beach. Within an hour: Ballyvaughan, Kinvara and Dunguaire Castle.
What the fare covers
