Dromoland Castle is 237 kilometres from Dublin Airport — about two hours forty, almost entirely motorway. It sits just off the N18 near Newmarket-on-Fergus, which puts it fifteen minutes from Shannon Airport and about half an hour from Limerick city.
Why guests come from Dublin rather than Shannon
Shannon is the obvious airport for Dromoland, but it has far fewer long-haul services than Dublin, and Dublin's US pre-clearance makes the return leg materially easier. So a large share of Dromoland's American guests fly into Dublin and transfer across. It is a well-worn route for us.
Weddings and events
Dromoland runs a heavy wedding and corporate-event calendar, and both create the same problem: twenty or thirty guests landing across a whole day on different flights. We can coordinate that — staggered pick-ups against each flight number, one point of contact, one invoice at the end. If you are organising rather than merely attending, put the flight list in the message box on the quote form and we will build the schedule around it.
What the fare covers
€520 for up to 3 passengers, €570 for up to 7. Tolls, parking, flight tracking, name-board meet-and-greet and an hour of free waiting. Return transfers to Dublin or Shannon are booked at the same time and we will hold the date.
